Frequently Asked Questions...
how do I reset my automic clock/thermometer to the correct time zone?
I have an Oregon scientific indoor/outdoor thermometer clock that shows the wrong time zone. 2 hours too early. Would like to be able to set it to show Central Standard. The manual says just reset it manually, but when I do that, after about an hour or so it resets back to 2 hours too early.
already tried that, didnt work. I have the manual, it just doesnt deal with time zones.
Answer:
Try this and see if it works.
1. Press and hold CLOCK for 2 seconds.
2. Press ▲ or ▼ to change the settings.
3. Press CLOCK to confirm.
4. The setting order is: time zone offset, 12/24-hr
format, hour, minute, year, day / month format,
month, day and language.
Number 4 is what you need to pay attention to. Make sure you choose the right time zone or the right offset. The link below will give you user manuals for Oregon Scientific clocks and weather stations. Select your clock and will will list the features. At the bottom of the feature list will be a link for the user manual.
